Brian was recommended to me by my Financial Management group. Because I am busy with a career and numerous other activities, I had limited time to devote to the sale of an investment property, a duplex in Cupertino. I also intended to purchase a rental property outside of the Bay Area. After my initial meeting with Brian he immediately took on the task. He worked diligently and seamlessly with my Financial Planner, my Property Manager, my Tenants, my CPA, multiple Realtors and two Title Companies. Brian was the driving force in recommending and managing a Partial 1031 Exchange (allowing me to defer a portion of my capital gains taxes) and helped to guide us regarding potential properties for the exchange. In the end we had a very tight and complex closing timeline which Brian navigated expertly and smoothly. This was clearly not effortless and I wondered how many other realtors could have pulled this off. I was not in town for most of the transaction, but was always confident because Brian stayed in constant communication. I signed most documents electronically, and he arranged for a mobile Notary to meet me when I was out of town. I could not have managed this process without Brian. In the end he even took the time to return to the Cupertino rental property to retrieve personal belongings, one item being of extreme sentimental significance to me. Brian clearly goes “above and beyond” to take care of his clients and attend to their needs.
