About #FeedTheNeed Bay Area – Los Gatos and Feed Our Heroes

It takes two!

Two Los Gatos community organizations have partnered to provide critically needed food to those most impacted by the coronavirus.

#FeedTheNeed Bay Area – Los Gatos is a community-driven emergency fund, led by the Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce, that is providing free hot meals to the most vulnerable citizens in the Los Gatos area, including seniors, displaced Los Gatos employees and low-income families.

#FeedTheNeed Bay Area – Los Gatos has also been providing emergency meals to medical workers at local hospitals in absence of other funding sources. As the critical needs of hospitals expand, this role will require extra support with Feed Our Heroes. #Feed The Need Bay Area will continue to provide meals to the most needy.

Feed Our Heroes is a campaign to deliver free end-of-shift meals to local healthcare workers fighting the coronavirus. This campaign is led by our Los Gatos education community, in partnership with other local organizations and businesses, all who are united in their appreciation for these healthcare heroes.

Both campaigns source all food from our outstanding Los Gatos restaurants, sustaining our local businesses, and their employees, during these tough times.
