When my husband and I decided to sell our house, we expected to experience a stressful time: staging, open house, constant visits to our home, decision about the selling price and negotiation with the buyers, among others. However, Brian Bernasconi made our life much easier and the entire process went smoothly, from the staging to the escrow closure. We were delighted.
Brian Bernasconi is very knowledgeable about the market, sensitive to our needs, kind and supportive. He listens and advises in the right time. He would promptly respond to any question I had or request I made. We did the staging together, using our own furniture. It took us a few days to get it ready and, in the end, the house was absolutely beautiful. This was very convenient and saved us money and time. He also arranged the photos that were taken by Christina Bernasconi, a competent and efficient photographer. I was very happy with the photos and video tour.
Our house was sold in the second day after the open house, for a price higher than we initially asked for. Brian was at our house up to 10pm to have all documents signatures and make sure all was done correctly. I highly recommend Brian as a realtor.

Brian went far beyond the expected as our realtor. In fact, I am afraid that our review will not do him justice! He really listened to us when we explained that we wanted to sell our house “as is”. We did not want to spend a lot of money fixing it up or having it professionally staged, so he worked with us on choosing which furnishings would go or stay and helped with arranging them. He has a very artistic eye! He and the photographer did such a good job that when we saw the virtual tour we thought, “Wow! This is a really gorgeous home! I want to live there!” We had let our lawn die, so he arranged for landscapers to do some minimal yard work and afterward we joked about painting the lawn. Lo and behold, Brian showed up with paint and a sprayer! (He’s going to kill us for revealing this because now everyone will expect these little “extras” from him!) He did other over-the-top favors for us like lending us a more modern refrigerator which he helped load, deliver and unload.
The most significant factor was his availability by phone or email. He always got right back to us even if he was too busy at the moment.
Brian was so exceptional that we decided to utilize his expertise, insights and connections to help us find our new home, even though it was not in his primary area. He got to know us so well, that he directed us away from new homes that would have soaked up most of our profit, even though this meant a smaller commission for him. We felt that he truly cared about us as people, not just as clients. We spent many days and hours in his car looking for our next home and once we chose the right place for us, he was always available to help us with all our many questions including some confusing forms.
We feel blessed to have chosen Brian as our realtor and now, our life-long friend.

We had been looking for a house in the Los Gatos area for 2 years before we found Brian. I don’t like thinking about what opportunities we missed out on because we were not working sooner with him. Brian listened to our criteria intently, and was able to find us options that we would have never considered, yet fulfilled our needs.
When we did finally find a house, his professionalism and local relationships helped out immensely in us securing the home. He has a perfect balance of aggressiveness and patience, which are both very much needed in the Bay Area real estate market.

Brian was recommended to me by my Financial Management group. Because I am busy with a career and numerous other activities, I had limited time to devote to the sale of an investment property, a duplex in Cupertino. I also intended to purchase a rental property outside of the Bay Area. After my initial meeting with Brian he immediately took on the task. He worked diligently and seamlessly with my Financial Planner, my Property Manager, my Tenants, my CPA, multiple Realtors and two Title Companies. Brian was the driving force in recommending and managing a Partial 1031 Exchange (allowing me to defer a portion of my capital gains taxes) and helped to guide us regarding potential properties for the exchange. In the end we had a very tight and complex closing timeline which Brian navigated expertly and smoothly. This was clearly not effortless and I wondered how many other realtors could have pulled this off. I was not in town for most of the transaction, but was always confident because Brian stayed in constant communication. I signed most documents electronically, and he arranged for a mobile Notary to meet me when I was out of town. I could not have managed this process without Brian. In the end he even took the time to return to the Cupertino rental property to retrieve personal belongings, one item being of extreme sentimental significance to me. Brian clearly goes “above and beyond” to take care of his clients and attend to their needs. Although I could go on and on about Brian’s Professionalism, Compassion and Attention to Details, rest assured that you will experience all of these qualities first hand when you have the good fortune to work with him.
